For some people, waking up and being on time is one of the hardest thing to do. In fact, if you don’t be punctual, it may mean the difference between keeping your job and getting sacked. Hence, being punctual is very important in today’s society, particularly in regards to work. Here are 5 easy tips to be more punctual!

1. Purchase a loud annoying sounding alarm clock!

If you are a person who loves to sleep in bed until you feel you are ready to wake up, then purchasing an annoying sounding alarm clock is for you! With an annoying alarm clock it forces you to feel mentally annoyed, which is a perfect way to make your brain to wake up! A soothing or musical sounding alarm won’t make you wake up, because it makes you stay in bed longer!

2. Drink lots of water before you go to bed

If you want to wake up early in the morning, then you should drink at least 3 or 4 glasses of water before you go to bed. This is because when you do this, your body will have to wake up and go to the toilet because of the excess amount of water you have in your body.

3. Have your time in your watch be behind at least 10 minutes late

If you are always late, then it is best to turn your watch 10 minutes behind the actual time. When you do this, it makes you think you are always late and have to be on time more. Also, if you think that you are slightly late because the time of your watch, you are actually on time because you wound your clock back!

4. Plan your schedule for the day!

Planning is one of the best ways to be more punctual. When you plan things, you space out your time in an efficient manner. This will mean that you will have time to do all the things you need to do during the day. It also means that you don’t have to rush a lot because you scheduled enough time to do the activity that you want!

5. Get more sleep!

The biggest reason people are not punctual is because they did not receive enough sleep during the night and have to compensate it by sleeping in more. People are generally more tired if they don’t get enough sleep, hence they are more physically and mentally slower. Therefore, the become punctual, you should get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday!
